“LEST WE FORGET TO REMEMBER”
A JAZZ SOCIETY HISTORY PROJECT
The Prescott Jazz Society is currently collecting and documenting articles for a “historical collective” regarding the history of jazz in Northern Arizona. (No. AZ/ Cottonwood, Prescott, Prescott Valley, Dewey, Mayer, Village of Oak Creek, Sedona, Flagstaff).
We are asking for the public's help in gathering old photographs, news articles, musical programs, posters, flyers, etc. These materials will be guaranteed to be returned to the owner if so desired.
Persons who possess historical jazz material or are interested in volunteering to assist in collecting these items of interest should contact Milt Cannon @ 928-237-7908 or go to the Contact Us page and send your contact information for a prompt response.
There will be a live presentation that will also offer a “historical booklet” at the culmination of this project.
